RICE MILLING PROCESS:

Overall operation in a modern rice mill involves handling of stored paddy and milling it to get polished rice. In brief, the rice milling process is as follows:
Cleaning:
Principle of cleaning paddy is based on different in physical properties such as weight, size, density and properties of impurities and paddy impurities lighter than paddy are removed by an aspirator.
Dehusking:

The company has rice mills that have automated rubber roll Sheller as the principal dehusking unit.
Husk Separation:

Automatic weighers receive the material (either intake paddy or polished rice) in a continuous flow and release it in predetermined quantities by weight. Automatic baggers ensures dust free bagging of finished products and records number of weighments made. Modernization is a never ending process. What is modern today is outdated tomorrow. Better management lies in making use of available technology to get the best results.
Paddy Separation:
Shelling is never done to the level of 100% to avoid rice breakage. Grains differ in size. So smaller grains remain unshelled. A paddy separate is thus used to separate paddy from brown rice. The separated paddy is returned to the Sheller while brown rice is carried forward to the polisher. The separation is accomplished by taking advantage or the differences in density, size and surface roughness between paddy and brown rice.
Polishing:
Some amount of polishing or removal of bran layers is essential for easy cooking and storage. There are two types of polishers (whiteners) _ Abrasive and Friction.4R5,,
Precision Sizer:
Used for removing thin and oversized grains, leaving behind uniform grains for good cooking result & slender grains.
Sortex:
We have modern machines fully equipped which cleans rice, removes discolored grains, leaving behind clean (pearl white grains).
Packing:
JUTE BAGS, PP BAGS, HDPE BAGS Mostly we are using Jute bags for our export to the Middle East Countries. PP/HDPE bags are also being used as per requirements of the overseas buyers. We are exporting to African countries in PP/ HDPE bags mostly in packing of 50 Kg or also in smaller packing as per the requirements of overseas buyer. We also supply in the packing duly printed in the brand of overseas buyer, if desired. The company has affiliations with various shipping companies and agencies, which facilitates us in chattered shipments and also in small consignments. We have activity of our own chartering division for chartering of vessels and fulfilling our C&F/CIF obligations which help in timely execution of our shipments and deliveries of cargos at destination according to buyer's requirement and satisfaction. We have our offices at ports. We have engaged professional staff with full fledged knowledge and experience of shipping procedures. They ensures proper warehousing chartering and loading of goods at port. We are required to have our own warehouses at port which can store agro products before shipment. These warehouses are properly ventilated and fumigated regularly, under requisite temperature. This ensures the maintenance of quality of agro products at pre-shipment stage. This is very essential because even slight carelessness would spoil the quality of agro products. Further the normal transit period to reach cargos at destination in about 20/30 days. Hence we have also to ensure that the goods are loaded in vessels/containers in perfect condition having proper verification and temperature, which maintain the quality of our product even during transit period. Our success therefore lies in maintaining stringent quality controls at both pre-shipment and post shipment stage. Timely delivery of cargo in perfect condition is ensured.

Insurance:
We have our in house professional staff handling insurance matters. They look after insurance policies covered from all angles we are also obtain orders to ship cargos on CIF basis. Our staff has to ensure that there is no deficiency in insurance matters so that in case of mis-happening, neither we nor our buyer should suffer.
Research & Development:
The group is running its own R&D having skilled & professional staff which is responsible to improve and update the qualities of group's products according to the need of hours.
Grading:
After polishing operations, the milled rice contains head rice and broken of different sizes. Separation of brokens from head rice is termed grading.
Weighing and Bagging:
The mixture of shelled paddy (brown rice), remaining unshelled paddy, some brokens and husk comes out of the Sheller. This mixture is subjected to sieving-cum aspiration to separate brokens and husk. Sieving prior to aspiration helps to recover the brokens. Husk is separated from heavier paddy and rice by aspiration.
